MapleStory MesosVarious local workers continue to excavate hundreds of thousands of dead anchovies, mackerel and sardines in the water at King Harbor Marina after a massive fish kill took place this morning.
"There are people to people networks and platforms skimmer boat to take them out of the water," says Debbie Talbot, Los Angeles County Department of beaches anMapleStory Mesosd harbors. "They are working in the evenings."
Talbot said die-off was most likely due to the strong winds that hit the area Monday night. He said the sea was rough and the fish may have sought a safe haven.

Talbot said that when water was checked this morning oxygen levels were at zero. Fish can survive in water with a level 5 or above.
Staci Gabrielli, Maritime Coordinator for King Harbor, told the Associated Press that the carcasses were so thick in some places that the boats could not get out of the port.
Dead fish are dumped back into the water, tipped or recycled at the plant.
